3rd October 2009 (Saturday) - Moon Cake Festival
So... this year, we celebrate our 1st Mook Cake Festival a.k.a. Mid Autumn Festival in US. There's no lentern here at Bloomington but lukily we had mooncakes. I really miss the ice-skinned moon cakes!!!
(p/s: I suddenly remember that we watched Moonlight Resonance during our Mooncake Festival last year and I was infamously named "Sa Yi" by Stephy who claimed herself as "Yu Sou Chau")
And of course, being as creative as we are, we decided to had a fancy and romantic "candle light dinner for not 2, not 4 but 6" as a family-lah of course.
Pictures, pictures...
OMG, isn't this romantic, with all the candles...
Dinner prepared by CJ, Liz, WL and CK. Our guys can cook. Proud of them. XD Muahahaha!!!
WL and I. Couple no. 1. With mooncakes!!!
Liz and CJ. Couple no. 2.
CK and Alicia. couple no.3 Ops ops ops, I mean FRIENDS. Hahaha!!!
Mooncakes under the candlelights.
WL, me and CK.
And you know what other crazy things we did? We decided to play friesbee at 12.5 degree celsius. Crazy!!!!!
Isn't Liz's friesbee beautiful in the dark? It's a pesent from CJ.
Me catching the friesbee. See the "power" in green light? Legend says that it is the "Spirit of the Wind Miller Drive". Muahahahaha!!!
Too bad we couldn't see the moon that day. Bet it was too cloudy that the moon decided to shy away in the clouds.

Met lots of international students there. Both of them are graduate students. One of them is even majoring in Biotech!!!

Sail boat.
Before we go back, we stop by the DeFord's garden. Look how welcoming this place looked.
Beverly toured us around her garden.
Planting cute plants in shoes. How cute and creative. ^^

The wall of The Deer Revenge. Lolz...
They told me that this flower is edible with salads. Interesting huh. But since even hibiscus is edible, I am sure that there are more flowers out there that are edible.
Had a great weekend. When you work hard and play hard, you seem to appreciate your free time more.
Adieu. ^^
